We started potty training again today, and the kids are definitely ready this time around. We had a great first day!!!!!
All three kids were eager to use their potties. As a matter of fact, I had trouble getting them off their potties -- even after they already peed! I never got a chance to establish set potty times today because the girls came and got me each time they had to go. If one had to go, they all wanted to go. Even if their training pants were wet, the girls still managed to go a little more on their potties. Jessie peed every time but once, and Hannah peed almost every time, too. Zach never had even a dribble, but he was definitely very good about sitting on the potty.
The followup hand-washing went very well also. The hand towel never had a chance to dry out from all the potty trips times three hand washings. I'm going to have to break out an extra towel tomorrow.
I am extremely encouraged about our experience so far. They did fantastic with wearing their training pants, pulling down and up their pants and training pants by themselves, and also helping me clean up. A very positive experience so far!
